Moldmaking and moldmakers are the foundation DME’s business. Its most important contribution to moldmaking has been standardized solutions for OEMs and moldmakers to the delivery of quality products that work no matter where a mold will be used.
However, here we talk about mold maintenance, specifically cleaning conformal cooling channels, which has been an increasing design trend over the years. Many shops experience corrosion and restricted or even clogged channels, which are very difficult to clean until now. Hence, CoolingCare, which I first saw at NPE 2018.
