Guide Element Program is Expanded
Guide elements with a snug-fit feature are now available to Hasco customers in an effort to reduce damage to tool inserts and cores.
To avoid damage to tool inserts and cores when closing an injection mold, Hasco introduces around 2,350 additional guide elements with a snug fit, from the Z00C to the Z11C series. A tolerance jump in the system diameter in the rear area enables a tight fit of the elements in the system bore for improved process reliability during production.
The new precision guide elements are precisely tailored to Hasco tool plates and can be integrated into all K-Install and remove plates. They are compatible with the standard guide element program because they are identical in construction to Hasco’s established guide elements, their difference only being their snug-fit feature. For instance, a 10-mm-long n5 fit tolerance ensures a tight fit of the guide element in the mold plate. The expansive guide element range will enable Hasco customers to respond better to flexibility and tool quality requirements, the company contends.
